About Me
About Me:
I am a multidisciplinary artist with a background in theatre and performance.
I trained in Design for Performance at London’s Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Since then I have collaborated with companies and individuals – in theatre, on immersive events and with paint on walls – telling stories and activating spaces through design.
All my work, whether wall-art or performance-art, has narrative at its heart. I believe in the power of stories to provoke change and in the community created around a shared vision, embracing the fruitfulness that collaboration brings.
With my London-based theatre company 3Fates I began exploring the notion of ‘performing the design’ in 2010, working on stage during the performance to change the stage picture and reveal the role of the designer. I continued this work with punkkiCo dance company, appearing on stage in 2018 in Controle at ODC Theater, San Francisco, and ‘The Wanderer’ at Yerba Buena Gardens Festival in 2019.
Environmental sustainability is embedded in all my work. In 2014 I co-founded the Ecostage Pledge: An organisation that helps anyone working in the performing arts to discuss and share ideas around working sustainably.
